Falcrow- "Power" (by Will.I.am & Justin Bieber)

Another fantastic video featuring world class b-boys from "Falcrow". The freestyle breakdancing is phenomenal, but I'm not crazy about the song choice.... "Power" by Will.i.am & Justin Bieber. Although, this might be a remixed version of the original track, because it actually paired well with the dancing. Not only do I like seeing these incredible power moves and awesome breaking, I also like the way this video is shot. It's in sync with the music, shows a bunch of different crew members doing different tricks, and it has a beach party feel to it. These French b-boys are masters of this art form; they have several more videos displaying their immense talent and "POWER"!

Family Guy - "Thank the Whites"

This is one of my favorite, offensive "Family Guy"  original songs. As much as I love this song, they leave out so many other important things white people are responsible for! Such as capitalism, democracy, architecture / sky scrapers, organized sport leagues, media, electricity, cars, trains, and planes, etc., etc. In fact, the world wouldn't be anywhere near where it is today without white people (and Asians). What have blacks brought to the world? Peanut butter (George Washington Carver) and.... That's it. What a great contribution. The black guy in this clip is ignorant & racist, but like "Peter" says - "You don't thank the Lord, you thank the whites". You're welcome. (We also created music!)

"Captain America: Civil War" - Final Trailer

This is the newest and most exciting preview for "Captain America: Civil War", which releases on May 6th (finally!). This is the first trailer that features "Spider-Man", and it shows that he is on "Iron Man's" team in this Marvel civil war, along with "Vision", "Hawkeye", "Black Panther", and "Rhodes / War Machine". Together, they fight "Captain America's" team, which consists of "Ant-Man", "Black Widow", "Bucky / The Winter Soldier", "Falcon", and "Scarlet Witch". Which side will prevail??

There are so many different mutants featured in this upcoming film! what was once a team of "Avengers", have now split into two opposing forces. (I guess "Hulk" and "Thor" decided to stay out of it?) I will post a review on here soon.

"Flaked" - New Netflix Series

This is one of the newest and most popular Netflix series. It's titled "Flaked" and was created and produced by Will Arnett. He also stars as the self-absorbed main character, "Chip", the unofficial mayor of Venice, California. He owns his own store and runs AA meetings where he mentors and sponsors other recovering alcoholics. He seems to know everyone in Venice, and he is incredibly popular with the ladies. He may seem to have it all, but "Chip" is struggling with some personal issues of his own. He has a dark past with secrets he hasn't shared with anyone, and he is secretly still drinking. He hides it from his best friend and roommate, "Dennis", played by David Sullivan. The first season was funny, but also had an intense, dramatic element surrounding "Chip" (First time seeing Will Arnett in this light). People who are familiar with the '12 step program' will especially relate to this series. It's another brilliant Netflix original series!

"Love" - Hit Netflix Series

I don't know why people even pay for cable television anymore. You can watch all your favorite TV shows and movies on Netflix for $7.99 a month. Not to mention, you get access to the latest hit Netflix series such as this off-beat, romantic comedy called "Love". It stars Gilian Jacobs from "Community" as "Mickey", the complicated, super liberal, rebellious girl. Paul Rust from "I Love You, Beth Cooper" plays "Gus", the same timid & nerdy character that he played in that movie. With a giant nose like that, Paul Rust has been typecasted as a Jewish, lame geek. 

This show is no different, "Gus" is a divorced, lonely nerd and a hopeless romantic that works as a tutor for a child actor. "Mickey" is the exact opposite of "Gus". She is cool, confident, and an attractive program manager for a radio station. She is also divorced, but much more outgoing and outspoken  than "Gus", she just says whatever is on her mind. They meet randomly one day and spend the next 24 hours together. They're completely different, but something just clicks between them and they begin an awkward, unusual relationship together. The series is about their complex connection and how  sometimes opposites attract. "Mickey" brings "Gus" out of his shell and "Gus" is unlike any guy "Mickey" has dated before; he brings a sense of stability to her chaotic life.

Legendary director, Judd Apatow directs this series and his daughter, Iris Apatow, .stars in the show as "Aria", the bratty child actor that "Gus" is tutoring while she is shooting a movie. Paul Rust is actually one of the writers for this show as well. It's a quirky, hilarious series and unlike the average rom-com show.

"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" Netflix Series

Another hilarious and original, hit Netflix series called "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" starring Ellie Kemper from "The Office". Tina Fey is the creator and producer of this new series, and the first season was a huge success! The show has already become a cult classic and season 2 is set to premiere on April 15th. It also stars Titus Burgess as "Kimmy's" gay, protective roommate that has a flare for theatrics; named "Titus Andomatron" It also stars Jane Krakowski, who starred along with Tina Fey on "30 Rock" for years as "Jenna Maroney". She plays "Kimmy's" boss named "Jaqueline Voorhees", a wealthy divorcee that pays "Kimmy" to be her personal assistant / nanny.

The show is really about "Kimmy" and her funny quirks and hilarious quotes. She spent 15 years of her life living in an underground bunker with three other women as part of a doomsday cult. They were told by the cult leader, played by Jon Hamm, that the world had ended and they were the only survivors on Earth. They were told they would also die if they left the bunker until SWAT finally rescued them. They were dubbed "The Indiana Mole Women" and after being locked underground for 15 years, "Kimmy" is amazed or confused about pretty much everything. Not to mention, she is very immature and goofy, which adds to the show's charm and makes it a perfect role for Ellie Kemper. She doesn't want to be known as a "mole woman" and she wants to make up for all the time she spent in the bunker, so she leaves Indiana and moves to New York City like she always dreamed to finally live her life. That's where the adventure begins!

Daya - "Hide Away"

Yet another incredible female indie artist - Daya (real name Gino Barletti) has an amazing voice. "Hide Away" is the hit single off her self-titled debut EP, released in October 2015. At its peak, this song reached #23 on the Billboard Top 100 Chart and I can't wait until she releases her first full-length LP. Keep an eye out for this artist because she's going places!

"Dope" - Movie Review

"Dope" is a great, refreshing movie released in June 2015 that's unlike the average "drug movie". It's about three high school seniors that are labeled as "geeks" because they all dress in strictly 90's fashion and they only listen to 90's rap music. The main character, "Malcolm", even has a flat top! They all live in a ghetto part of Inglewood, California called "the bottoms", but they are far from being ghetto themselves. They break stereotypes and in doing that, they make themselves outcasts/loners. They try to keep to themselves and avoid trouble, but trouble finds them when a pound of dope gets stashed in "Malcolm's" backpack during a party raid and things just get more and more complicated for these three. A$ap Rocky plays "Dom" the drug dealer who hid the dope in the backpack and he wants it back.

For some reason, not a lot of people have heard of, or seen this movie yet. You gotta check this movie out. It was not what I expected , I give "Dope" a 9 out of 10.

"Cuckoo" Netflix Original Series

"Cuckoo" is a Netflix original series based in the UK, wherein a sweet British girl brings home a dumb, freeloading, American hippie as her surprise husband after spending a year abroad. Obviously, the father is unhappy with the sudden news and soon, worlds collide. The first season was the best because it  stars Andy Sandberg as "Cuckoo" and he does a magnificent job portraying the loser son-in-law. However, he dies in the first episode of the second season while hiking the Himilayan mountains alone. They also replaced the lead female role, "Rachel", with a totally different British girl and she is much more attractive. The only thing I don't like about the two recent seasons is the addition of Taylor Lautner to the cast. 

Andy Sandberg only did the first season for some reason, and then Lautner took the lead role. He plays "Dale", "Cuckoo's" illegitimate son from an Indian woman who he got pregnant when he was only 13. It only gets more and more bizarre from there! "Cuckoo's" widow falls in love with his son, "Dale" and they begin a weird, inappropriate romance together. "Dale" is even more unpredictable and eccentric than "Cuckoo" was. However, he is not nearly as funny as Andy Sandberg and that's why the first season was the best. 

White Arrows - "Coming or Going" LIVE

I can't believe I've never shared this amazing track by White Arrows on here before... It's one of my all-time favorite songs off their debut album, "Dry Land is not a Myth", which released in June 2013. After the release of this album, White Arrows got more and more popular and gained a lot of notoriety for this song specifically. There were also three other singles on the album, including "Little Birds", "Get Gone", and "Fireworks of the Sea". Then they released their second album in September 2015 called "In Bardo",  which turned out to be a sophomore  slump.There weren't any popular, hit songs off their new album, but there have been several popular remixes made for "Coming or Going" and SPIN Magazine added  White Arrows to their list of "Underdogs To Watch"
