"Brickleberry" Officially Cancelled

The last 3 episodes of "Brickleberry" just finished airing on Comedy Central. Now, this brilliant and original cartoon series is officially cancelled (forreal this time!). I don't know why the network would drop this show - it's an offensive, hilarious, adult  cartoon series, and it's the only one NOT on "Adult Swim". It's also much more explicit, vulgar, and funny than those other adult humor cartoon series, like; "Family Guy", "American Dad", "The Cleveland Show", "The Simpsons", and even "South Park". "Brickleberry" is better than all those other cartoons! Not to mention, the animation /drawing looks ten times better than all those other shows. It has a completely different group of writers and producers, including it's creator, the sarcastic comedian with his own TV show; Daniel Tosh. This show was one of Comedy Central's only animated series, I can't believe it didn't have a lot of viewers, which resulted in bad ratings and ultimately cancellation. I'm a HUGE fan of "Brickleberry", and I'm really going to miss this show with all its well-developed, unique characters and outrageous & totally original episodes. If only more people would've watched just one full episode, they would see how amazing this show actually is, and maybe it wouldn't have been cancelled...?

The final three episodes were just as funny as the rest! In the first episode, "Steve" becomes a police officer that finds himself  in way over his head. Next episode, the Park Rangers become camp counselors and "Woody" has sex with his own daughter! The series finale is all about global warming and alien cows taking over the world. So, at the very end, the alien cows just kill off all the "Brickleberry" Rangers... Its not exactly how I thought this series would end, but I guess killing all the main characters is one conclusive way of ending a series.

How "District 9" Should Have Ended

This version of "HISHE" not only shows you an alternate ending to this  film, but it shows what a "District 9" sequel would be like. The alien said in the movie that he must save his species and fly back to their home planet to plan revenge against Earth. The main character, "Wikus Van Der Merwe" quickly changes his mind about being turned back into human at the end during the alien invasion.

"Batman & Superman" Discuss New Movie Trailer

"Batman" and "Superman" sit down at the "Super Cafe" as always to discuss the new trailer for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" that is set to release summer of 2016.This is just adding to the all the hype surrounding the release of this film. "Superman" seems much more interested in the new "Star Wars" movie. No matter what happens, they agree to continue meeting up at the "Super Cafe" together.I'm telling you, "Superman" fighting "Batman" doesn't make any sense! They're both in "The Justice League" together and it's nowhere close to a fair fight. ("Superman" would destroy "Batman") It's obviously going to end up being a team-up movie.

Aaron Hernandez found GUILTY

Former New England Patriots tight end, Aaron Hernandez, went before a judge on Monday, April 20th in Boston, MA. to finally hear the verdict in this murder case. The jury of 5 men (probable football fans) and 7 women deliberated for over 35 hours before coming back with a GUILTY verdict on all three charges. As a huge Patriots fan, this is unfathomable to me. Former teammates and other NFL players are speaking out against the verdict on Twitter and other social media., including fellow Patriots teammate Brandon Spikes. Why would an NFL super-star who was about to re-sign with the Patriots for a 13 million dollar contract, throw it all away by killing someone??

Just like in OJ Simpson's case, there was a lot of evidence against him. His own security cameras in his home revealed incriminating evidence. He took a "selfie" in the mirror holding the murder weapon and didn't even bother to bury the body, which was discovered a mile from his house. Combine that with his two "friends" that rolled on him like a tire, even  his incredibly expensive defense team and his past of being an all-star NFL player didn't help him in the end.

As the verdict was read on April 20, Hernandez made no facial expressions, he just sat down in defeat while listening. He had such a promising future, now he is going to spend the rest of his life in federal prison with no chance of parole. It's a shame to see all that talent go to waste, he went from playing in the super bowl to a 6x10 prison cell. That's so sad,  I don't think he actually killed anyone himself - he may have arranged the murder, but I don't think he pulled the trigger.I thought he was going to be found "Not Guilty" like OJ, but I guess the justice system has finally stopped giving preferential treatment to celebrities.... Michael Vick is a worse person than Aaron Hernandez..

Childish Gambino - "The Worst Guys" (Feat. Chance)

At first. I thought this must be the censored version of "The Worst Guys", because the chorus just cuts out a word. It's obvious which word is being implied, I don't know why they don't just say "dick"?? They curse throughout the rest of this song, so I think that part of the chorus was left missing a word intentionally for some reason.... The song would sound better without that gap in the chorus.

SO the chorus goes,  "All she needed was some ....... All she needed was some ........" . It's still a cool song and a fun music video featuring Chance the Rapper. Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) is already a Grammy-nominated rap artist and an Emmy Award winning actor, he  has an original style of hip-hop & rap music all his own. He raps about his real life (and girls), then he puts his comedic flavor on it, which makes for lyrically creative and funny songs.Unlike the vast majority of rappers who just talk about their cars, houses, and chains and it's absolute garbage.

That's why i like Childish Gambino so much, but that's also why he takes so much hate and criticism from the urban / rap community. He doesn't let those ignorant comments bring him down and it doesn't change anything about the way he continues to write new & creative songs and collaborates with other artists.

"Ant-Man" (New Trailer)

This is the latest trailer for MARVEL's "Ant-Man", starring Paul Rudd. I never read the comics, so I don't know much about the character "Ant-Man" besides the fact that he's actually an "Avenger" in the comic books. I like this trailer much more than the first one because this one shows more of the action sequences and CGI graphics in this film, while also giving a glimpse at the light, comedic parts of the movie. After all, it does star the hilarious Paul Rudd as "Ant-Man" (the lamest MARVEL hero). He is a master thief and a criminal that turns over a new leaf and uses his skills for good. He is recruited to pull off the most important and impossible heist to save the world (hence the suit that allows him to shrink down to the size of an ant). We also get our first look at the villain in this new trailer, "Yellow Jacket" played by Corey Stoll. His enemy is a wasp? Come on - this sounds so stupid, but maybe it won't be completely terrible ...? I guess we'll have to wait and see when the movie releases on July 17, 2015.

How "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Should Have Ended

The turtles are back in cartoon form in the newest "HISHE" clip about "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie, but they don't sit down at the "Super Cafe" at the end of the video like usual. Instead, "Batman" confronts "Raphael" during the clip about using his "Batman voice", which was referenced in the film. They also run into "The Amazing Spider-Man", because New York is full of MARVEL heroes....as this clip points out. Not to mention, this new "Ninja Turtles" movie just completely copied the the first "Amazing Spider-Man" movie where Andrew Garfield plays "Spider-Man" and has to stop a dangerous air born toxin from being released at the top of "Oscorp" tower over NYC.... sound familiar?

It actually shows the how they used the exact same plot in more ways than one. I never noticed before, but "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is just a plagiarist copy of "The Amazing Spider-Man" movie released in 2012. While discussing this with each other, they become distracted and both towers release the air born toxins, and somehow, when mixed together, turns all the people of New York into "Ninja Turtles"..... (back when they looked normal). This clip takes another jab at the movie for making the "Ninja Turtles" look like dinosaurs and they get their asses kicked by "Shredder" way too easily... I thought they were mutant ninjas?. This NEW clip is hilarious! Cowabunga!

"Terminator: Genisys" (Trailer)

I can't believe Arnold Schwarzenegger did another "Terminator" movie at the age of  67, and after being the Governor of California for over seven years. Since he retired from being the "Governator" in 2011, he has been trying to get back into acting by playing roles in movies like "The Last Stand", "Escape Plan", and of course, "The Expendables" trilogy. He really is getting too old for this shit, the first "Terminator" film was released back in 1984 when Schwarzenegger was in his prime. Since then, they released three more movies in this popular franchise, and this new film be the 5th movie in this 30 year long saga! Schwarzenegger is not nearly as big, buff, and in shape as he was back then, I think it's time for him to retire from acting now too...

The story line continues along with the previous four films; "John Connor" fulfills his destiny in leading the humans in war against the machines. "Kyle Reese" is a new character introduced in this movie as the one chosen to go back in time to the original "Terminator", to stop the death of "Sarah Connor" from ever happening (Another time-travel movie.....yay).

With the exception of Arnold, it's a totally new cast- "John Connor" is an adult now and played by Jason Clarke (he's the one with all the scars on his face in the trailer), The young "Sarah Connor" is played by Emilia Clarke (no relation), and Schwarzenegger reprises his role as the "Terminator" once again. The villain appears to be the same liquid metal cyborg from "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" released back in 1991. (which makes sense if this is a time travel movie) Just like I said about the 5th "Mission: Impossible" movie that's also releasing this year, the "Terminator" saga is one of the few films to create FOUR sequels without fans losing interest, and all the movies make sense when watched in order. This will probably be Arnold's last time playing this famous character, so I'm really excited to see him one last time in "Terminator: Genisys" when it released on July 1st, 2015.

Zedd - "True Colors" (NEW Album)

Zedd is releasing his second album, "True Colors" on May 19, 2015 after his first album was such an enormous success. "Clarity" put Zedd on the map for sure, and he quickly became one of the best DJ's internationally and personally, one of my favorite artists. So there is a lot of pressure on him to release a sophomore album that can live up to his debut record. Real name, Anton Zaslavski, is a dub-step / house music DJ from Russia who is still kind of the new kid on the block. He's only 25 years old and has already won a Grammy Award for his hit single, "Clarity" (Feat. Foxes) and an MTV Europe Music Award for "Stay The Night".

Hopefully, with the release of this new album, Zedd will gain more popularity in the U.S. and schedule more tours through America. His first record released in 2012, "Clarity" was phenomenal and I can't wait to hear what the new stuff sounds like. No songs have leaked off the album yet, besides the single, "Addicted to a Memory" (feat. Bahari) which doesn't sound very promising.... but I'm still eager to hear the rest of the album.

"Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" (Trailer)

This is the 5th "Mission: Impossible" movie starring Tom Cruise as super, secret agent, "Ethan Hunt". The first "Mission: Impossible" film was released back in 1996 and it's still going strong (plus Tom Cruise hasn't aged at all in 20 years...somehow). Most movie sagas that release three sequels or more, simply run out of gas and the movies seem to get worse with every sequel. For example, "Fast & Furious", "Twilight", "Harry Potter", "Star Wars", '"Scream", etc,. These films that go beyond a trilogy tend to be disappointing and anti-climactic, plus, there are always changes to the cast or a director. If the original movie is a huge commercial success, the studio will milk it for every penny possible. They've taken box office hits and released multiple sequels that seem to get redundant.

"Mission: Impossible" is one of the very few sagas that has actually maintained its momentum from the start, like "Indiana Jones", "The Terminator", and "Die Hard". In fact, this movie has gotten more intense and crazy with each sequel. The five movies are spread over 20 years, which is smart and allows for better quality sequels. I watched the original "Mission: Impossible" when I was young and it was so awesome at the time, and they have consistently added more action sequences, explosions, stunts, and CGI graphics, so the movies got even better as I got older. In fact, I think the 4th movie titled "Ghost Protocol", was possibly the best one yet.So, I'm glad to see the winning combination of Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, and Jeremy Renner back in action together for this next mission.

There has never been a repeated story line and all 5 movies are cohesive and make sense wen watched in order. Not to mention, there is always some new, fancy, spy gear featured in every movie. This trailer for "Mission: Impossible:- Rouge Nation" looks epic! I can't wait until the movie is released July 31, 2015.

"Hot Tub Time Machine 2" - Review

"Hot Tub Time Machine 2" was incredibly confusing and just as stupid as the first one. The previews made it look funny, but it's like a complicated version of "Back 2 The Future". It has pretty much the same plot as that movie, and it's very similar to the original "Hot Tub Time Machine" released in 2010. Except in the sequel, they accidentally go 10 years into the future in an attempt to go back in time and stop "Lou" from getting shot. Adam Scott is introduced in the future as John Cusack's son, "Adam Jr." and Cusack is only in the movie for 30 seconds at the very end....

The movie pretty  much picks up where the last one ended. "Nick", played by Craig Robinson, is a famous musician and owns his own record label but begins to feel guilty about ripping off famous songs before they're ever created. "Lou", played by Rob Corddry, is still an asshole and still rich after inventing "Lougle" (he ripped off Google). He also stole the hot tub time machine from the original movie and put it in his house and figured out a way to synthesize the chemical that allowed them to time travel in the first place. Now, they can time travel as much as they want.

At the end of the movie, they discover "Adam" was the one who shot "Lou" out of revenge for something he does 10 years in the future.... Told you it was stupidly complicated. So, this time it's "Lou" that flickers if he messes with the space time continuum and they end up saving his life / existence while becoming best friends n the process... (of course). But at the very end of the film, John Cusack pops up and shoots "Lou" in the head.....? Then they reveal there are tons of alternate dimensions with tons of alternate versions of themselves. I thought this was supposed to be a silly comedy, but it's hard to follow what's going on and there is absolutely no character development. It was a giant disappointment just as I predicted, so I give this sequel a  5 /10.

"Batman vs Superman" at Super Cafe

Of course, there is a "HISHE" clip about the upcoming "Superman vs Batman" movie entitled, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". The movie doesn't release for another year, but there is already so much hype building up to the release of this film. "Batman & Superman" sit down at the "Super Cafe" just like they always do, and they discuss this movie before it even releases. They argue who would win in a fight between the two of them. They also have different ideas for the movie title. Funny Clip!

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" (Trailer)

The rumors are true, there is going to be a "Batman vs Superman" movie! Henry Cavill from "Man of Steel" will reprise his role as "Superman", and Ben Afleck will take his turn in playing "Batman". I don't know if there is going to be another "Batman" trilogy starring Ben Afleck or if this is a sequel to "Man of Steel". I think Ben Affleck is a good casting choice for "Batman" with that defined chin of his. The film is being pitched as a 'versus' movie between these two heroes, but that wouldn't make sense. "Superman" could just obliterate "Batman" with his laser eyes or his alien strength, (He is literally invincible.... it's not a fair fight). I bet they fight at first, before deciding to team up and take down "Lex Luthor", played by the annoying Jessie Eisenberg. There is also rumors that there may be appearances from other "Justice League" members, such as "Auquaman" and "Wonder Woman". The film doesn't release until summer 2016 because the studio didn't want to release it the same year as "The Avengers" sequel. So, it's going to be another year before we see "The Man of Steel" & "The Dark Knight" on screen together.

How "The Dark Knight Rises" Should Have Ended

Another "HISHE" clip about how "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises" should have ended. This one is hilarious - it pokes fun at "Batman" and shows alternate endings to specific scenes in the movie. It shows how they could have easily thwarted "Bane's" evil plans. For example, "Fox" could have flooded the chamber and destroyed the neutron bomb as well as possibly drowning "Bane". But instead, he actually helps them activate the device. Why did "Batman" get beaten by "Bane" so badly, when he has a utility belt full of gadgets and weapons? All he did was shoot some fireworks at "Bane" and turn the lights out..... Also, sending ALL of "Gotham's" police force down into the sewers to find one guy was a stupid plan. At the end of the clip, "Batman" sits down with "Superman" at the "Super Cafe" just like always, to discuss the movie. "Superman" points out the holes in the story and wonders how he is still alive after breaking his back and getting stabbed. (I especially like the part where "Robin" finds his suit).

"Workaholics" - Season 5 Review

"Workaholics" just ended its long-awaited 5th season, and it didn't really live up to all the hype... (see photos above) It's unfortunately only 13 episodes long, and the season finale sucked and totally contradicted previous episodes. However, there are still a few really good episodes and cool guest appearances this season. There are already some fan-favorites; such as, "Speedo Racer" - wherein "Anders" gets impaled by a trophy and we get to see "The DERS" again for the first time since season 3! "Front Yard Wrestling", features Ben Stiller as their landlord and he fights the guys in a front yard wrestling match, "Gramps DeMamp is Dead", features Jack Black as "Adam's" wild, irresponsible father who turns out to be his older brother in an odd twist, and Dolph Lundgren is featured briefly in "Blood Drive" as himself. Despite all those funny episodes, my favorite one by far is "Peyote it Forward", the episode where the guys are tripping on peyote while they're at work and put in charge of watching an 8 year old kid for the day. It's the best episode of the season, and one of their best episodes EVER in my opinion.

The three main characters and  their drug dealer are actually the creators/ producers/ directors/ writers of the show too, just like with "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia". Except in this show, they all use their real names with a slight change like, "Anders Holmvik" is played by Anders Holm, "Blake Henderson" is played by Blake Anderson, "Adam DeMamp" is played by the hilarious Adam DeVine, and "Karl Hevacheck" is played by Kyle Newacheck (he also directs the majority of the episodes). Sometimes they will all collaborate on writing an episode together, and sometimes it will be an episode written completely by just one out of the four guys. They're young, creative, comedic geniuses and real life best friends that turned a small TV show they thought would be cancelled after the first season, into a hit series that has lasted 5 seasons on "Comedy Central" and grown more and more in popularity.

They make no secrets about smoking herb on and off camera. They have episodes about doing almost EVERY drug over the course of five seasons. Including,  cocaine, acid, steroids, ecstasy (or "molly"), PCP (embalming fluid), bath salts, mushrooms, and of course; marijuana and alcohol in every episode. Just when I thought they had done everything, they added peyote to the list this season. This is definitely an adult show that plays late at night on "Comedy Central". (Also available for download)

How "Star Trek: Into Darkness" Should Have Ended

Another new "HISHE" video, and this one shows how "Star Trek 2: Into Darkness" should have ended. I absolutely loved the "Star Trek" sequel, but this clip points out some big holes in the story. Like, how uncovering "Kahn's" portable beaming device eliminates the need for those giant space ships, and why were they only able to bring "Jim" back to life with "Kahn's" blood.? They couldn't create a serum using his blood and mass produce it so no one would ever die...? It also points out how the sexy, Australian actress, Alice Eve was half naked in the movie and it gets more than "Jim Kirk's" attention. Check this one out - I'll post more of the new clips on here.

How "X-Men: Days of Future Past" Should Have Ended

This brand new episode of "How It Should Have Ended", or simply "HISHE"; is about the latest "X-Men" movie - "Days of Future Past" (Movie Review on this blog). This one is hilarious and points out that "Magneto" is actually "Quicksilver's" father, but the movie just kind of skimmed over that fact......It also points out that they should have brought "Quicksilver" with them to stop "Mystique" - that would have been much easier. I've posted a bunch of "HISHE" videos on here in the past because they're funny, satirical, animated versions of "Marvel" & "DC" characters from different movies. At the end of every "HISHE" video, the super-heroes sit down with "Batman" and "Superman" at the "Super Cafe" to answer questions about their movie, it's the dialogue that makes it so funny.!

Ryan Reynolds Interview About New "Deadpool" Movie

I'm So glad I found this exclusive interview with Ryan Reynolds confirming the rumors of a "Deadpool" movie in the works. He also talks about how it's NOT going to be the same "Mutant X / Deadpool" we saw in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", now he's gong to be the "Deadpool" all of us comic book nerds know & love. Fans were upset because it was a wildly inaccurate depiction of "Deadpool" in that film, and it didn't match the comic book version. Ryan Reynolds played "Deadpool" in that movie as well, and he actually did a good job in the first half of that movie. I think he's the perfect casting choice to play a bad-ass, super mercenary that never stops running his mouth.

I posted the original trailer for this movie a few months ago on here. It's so exciting to hear that they're actually making this movie,  and making it the right way! Ryan Reynolds also addresses the rating for this film that features such a violent, graphic, and explicit comic book character, and Reynolds confirms it's not really a "family movie" in this silly interview on "EXTRA" where "Deadpool" kills Mario Lopez for even suggesting a PG-13 rating ! If it's going to be a true "Deadpool" movie, it's definitely got to be rated R.

It looks like we are going to get to see the REAL "Deadpool" on the big screen, Ryan Reynolds is in the filming process right now and the movie releases sometime in 2016 - I can't wait!

"The Walking Dead" - Season 5 Review

One of the most popular shows on TV right now, "The Walking Dead" just finished its 5th season! It's definitely a show that you have to watch from the very beginning in season one to truly appreciate and understand this series. Trying to start watching now would be confusing..... you wouldn't know the back-story of all these different characters and how they all came together. Not to mention, to fully appreciate the complexities of this show and how far it has come over 5 seasons; it's a MUST to start watching from episode one. It's an enthralling, Golden Globe & Emmy Award-winning television show that has gotten the attention of EVERYONE by now...

Season 5 was the most intense and satisfying season thus far, and the season finale didn't end on a huge cliffhanger for the first time. In fact, the last episode ended on sort of a positive note - "Rick Grimes" was able to convince "Deanna" and everyone in the town that they have to start doing things HIS way. "Rick" and his group are  true survivors and they know what has to be done. They have been running from place to place for 4 seasons against seemingly impossible odds and the loss of group members along the way. By now, the remaining group members are hardened survivors that will do anything it takes to stay  alive. "Carol", "Glenn", "Daryl", "Carl", and "Rick" have been together from the very beginning, and they have added and lost several members along the way to end up with this current team in Season 5. I was surprised to see that "Tyrell" died this season, even though he actually plays a big role in the comic book version of "The Walking Dead". I knew "Bob" would die eventually and the rest of the characters that died were just introduced earlier in this season, like "Noah" and "Deanna's" family.

It's amazing to see the contrast of these characters from season one to season five. Especially "Rick", he transforms from a naive, trusting, weak leader to a crazed, bearded, survivalist that doesn't trust ANYONE. All regular rules of society no longer exist, it's now survival of the fittest and "Rick" has finally embraced that over the course of time and all the crazy, terrible situations he has found himself and his group/ family in. They almost died this season at "Terminus" before finding true sanctuary at "Alexandria" - a secure town where they meet "Deanna", a former congress woman in charge of this walled-in sanctuary. She has no idea what life is like beyond her walls until "Rick" and his group arrive.

In the finale, "Morgan" from season one shows up and sees "Rick" for the first time since he was that confused, naive, regular guy by himself in the first episode. Just looking at "Morgan" brings back a piece of humanity in "Rick" he still had left when they originally met. Since then, "Rick" has forgotten what "normal life" is like, but part of his normalcy resurfaces upon the long anticipated return of "Morgan".

"Brickleberry" is BACK....For 3 Final Episodes

"Brickleberry" is back.... briefly. The last three episodes from the final season never got a chance to air on television because the network cancelled the show. So, it ended with a lackluster series finale, which was a disappointment to fans. Now, for whatever reason; "Comedy Central" is bringing this awesome show back for the final 3 episodes from the third season and then it goes where good TV shows go to die before they've reached their full potential.

It's bittersweet news; because I'm excited to see these never-released episodes of one of my favorite adult cartoons, but also bummed out the show is still cancelled. So after Season 3 is finished properly, "Brickleberry" will be officially cancelled.
