"Horrible Bosses 2" - Review

This Sequel wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it's still ridiculous with a stupid & outrageous plot. Charlie Day, Jason Sudekis, and Jason Bateman reprise their roles as the idiotic trio of friends that always finds themselves in compromising situations. There is still that hilarious chemistry between these three actors, which makes for a better movie. They are average guys that come up with terrible plans that involve crime, but they're not cut out to be criminals at all. That's what makes this movie fun to watch.

So these three regular guys consult Jamie Foxx's character, "Motherfucker Jones" again in this movie for "criminal advice" and Jamie Foxx plays a much bigger role in the sequel. He's also a lot cooler and funnier in this movie. Jennifer Anniston also returns in this sequel and her character finally gets what she wants ("Dale's white whale") LOL. Chris Pine's character is actually the villain in this movie, which I did not see coming.

It's a good film, especially considering it's a sequel and the first one wasn't that great. I liked this movie more than the original "Horrible Bosses" - I give this sequel a  6 /10

"The Equalizer" - Review

The re-make of the popular 80's movie, "The Equalizer" is really brought back to life by Denzel Washington. His performance in this movie is phenomenal and he is what makes this movie so good. He makes the film so intense just by making his famous Denzel Washington faces. He plays an average-Joe that works at a home improvement store, but is secretly a trained killer. He is so calm and methodical as he kills an entire gang of Russian mobsters one-by-one in very creative and gruesome ways. This movie is super violent, but Denzel Washington's character holds his composure throughout the whole movie. He never raises his voice, curses, or threatens; he has a calm demeanor during the entire movie while killing countless gangsters and he always gives them a chance to keep their lives before he kills them.

All this fighting and violence is done with good intentions at heart. Denzel's character, "Robert" is exacting revenge on anyone he sees doing wrong/ evil and single-handedly restores order back to his neighborhood. "Robert" leads a very simple, routine life and doesn't look dangerous, but he is highly trained in combat and basically invincible. He is compassionate and goes out of his way to help others and cares for people, which is why he refuses to sit back and watch the injustices around him.

Pretty much EVERY Denzel Washington movie is guaranteed to be good and this one is no different - I give this movie  8/ 10

"Get Hard" - Trailer

I'm on the fence about this one....I mean, of course I'm going to see it, but I'm in no hurry. Based on the video above, this movie is either going to be something new and funny -OR- it's going to be a terrible waste of time. Then again, with Will Ferrell, it's ALWAYS hit-or-miss. He has starred in classic comedy movies like: "Anchorman" (1 & 2), "Step Brothers", "Old School", "Talladega Nights", "The Other Guys", and "The Campaign". All of those movies were huge box office hits and instant cult-classics. There are SO many famous lines/ phrases from each of these movies that everybody loves & remembers.

But, Will Ferrell has also starred in awful box office flops like: "Blades of Glory", "Semi-Pro", "Stranger Than Fiction", "Bewitched", and "Elf". It's hard to even sit through those movies and most people agree. What is his process behind choosing scripts ? Does he just do any movie that comes across his agent's desk?? There seems to be an inconsistency in whatever criteria Will Ferrell has for choosing which movie offers to accept.

After watching this trailer, I'm willing to bet this is going to fall into the latter category of terrible & stupid Will Ferrell movies. Kevin Hart's other new movie, "The Wedding Ringer" looks way better than this, and that movie is a straight rip-off of Will Smith's "Hitch". We'll have to wait and see when it releases March 27, 2015 and I'll definitely post a Review on here.

"Entourage" the MOVIE - Trailer

I heard rumors about this, but I can't believe they actually made an "Entourage" movie. This was originally a super popular HBO show that lasted 8 seasons and ended abruptly with a terrible, short season. Maybe this movie will make up for that awful season finale and give the audience proper closure in a way that makes sense. Maybe that's exactly why they made a movie about this TV show that's been off the air for over three years now... It's either that, or the creators of this movie are simply trying to ride on the success of this hit HBO series.

"Entourage" was a great show, but what I don't understand is... how can there be a movie about it now after all the characters split up in the final episode and went their separate ways ? Is the movie going to un-do that, or just pretend that terrible final season didn't happen?

Also, there was almost 100 episodes of "Entourage", each lasting a full hour. How are they going to condense it and make a 2 hour movie instead? Perhaps it will just be like one super long episode of "Entourage" (which is cool with me). It is nice to see all our favorite cast members come back one last time. Especially "Ari Gold", played by Jeremy Piven. And of course, "Vince" and his "entourage" are back. "Turtle" lost weight and looks a lot better in the trailer and "Drama" is still the same old "Drama".

Plus, Mark Wahlberg  is in this movie which is cool considering "Entourage" was originally created by him.  I'll definitely check this movie out when it's released summer of 2015 - The trailer looks promising.

Imagine Dragons - "It's Time" LIVE & Acoustic

I thought I would share some more enjoyable music by Imagine Dragons for Christmas.
My gift to all of YOU!

This is a HQ video of Imagine Dragons performing their hit song, "It's Time" live @ SXSW. They play a stripped down, unplugged, acoustic version of this awesome song and it sounds just as good as the album version. For a mainstream rock band, they maintain a very indie-rock sound.

Imagine Dragons - "Radioactive" LIVE

I hope being one of the millions of people that jumped on the Imagine Dragons bandwagon doesn't make me lame (even though I was here first). But there is no denying that this band is incredibly talented and their debut record, "Night Visions" is an absolute masterpiece. The album had SIX singles on it that all landed on the Billboard Top 100 Chart. Some of those singles topped the charts including, "In Time", "On Top of The World", "Demons", and this song -  "Radioactive" which holds the record for "Longest Charting Single" on the Billboard HOT 100 Chart (87 weeks !) Not to mention, the album, "Night Visions" was the #3 Top Hot 100 Albums of 2013 as well as the #7 Overall Top Artist of 2013. In 2014 They went on to win three Billboard Music Awards for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Artist, and Top Hot 100 Artist.

All this attention and all these awards off their very first full-length album. They've already won a Grammy award in 2013 for Best Rock Album. They've received a tremendous amount of success and attention internationally. Above is a Live performance of their #1 single, "Radioactive" @ The Joint in Las Vegas. This is a catchy, powerful song and a great video with High Quality sound.

"The League" - Season 6 Review

Season six of "The League" just ended with a pretty explosive season finale.....literally. They blow up the prize beach house that goes to the winner of their Fantasy Football League in the very end. Couple that with "Kevin" seeing ghost "Ted", "Ruxins" son using testosterone and going into puberty at age 6, "Taco" gets rich (again) and "Rafi" comes back to life and we learn of his origins (finally).
All of this made for a ridiculous season and what seemed like a series finale. Although, I'm not sure if the show is over now, but this is a good way to end it. Plus, 6 seasons of Fantasy Football jokes and episode ideas... I think the writers are tapped out.. I Loved this season because it was chaotic, hilarious, offensive, and out of control. They really went all-in on this season - you gotta check it out!

Zedd - Moment of Clarity (Mini-Documentary)

Documentary on Zedd and his path to his first full-length album, "Clarity" and the enormity of success this record has brought him since it's release in 2013. He's quickly become the new face of electronic music and this documentary is not only about him, but also other artists he has worked with. You get a behind the scenes look into this incredible album and the process of making this masterpiece. If you haven't heard "Clarity" yet, then you are missing out! Watch this short documentary.

Zedd - "Clarity" (feat. Foxes)

This is the official music video for "Clarity"(Feat, Foxes), the first single off the debut album by German dubstep DJ: Zedd. The name of his album is also titled "Clarity" and it's amazing! From start to finish, this record is filled with back-to-back, inventive, electronic tracks such as: "Shave It Up", "Spectrum", "Lost at Sea", "Codec", "Fall Into the Sky", "Stay The Night", "Push Play", "Alive" and of course, "Clarity" (See video above) which is by far his BEST song.

I basically named every song on the record, and that's after I tried to narrow it down to my favorite tracks. This album is That good! Every song could be a single, which is why Zedd won the Grammy award for "Best Dance Record" in 2013.

Still pretty new to the American electronic / dubstep scene; Zedd has already made a HUGE splash. He has done collaborations with many other artists and he's produced tracks for other artists. Zedd is just a DJ and producer, so pretty much every song on this record features a vocalist singing over his incredible music. He got his start just remixing other artists music, he even remixed Skrillex - "Breakin' a sweat"(feat. The Doors) and I think it's better than the original Skrillex version. (One of my first blog posts)

"Hot Tub Time Machine 2" - Trailer

I can't believe they made a sequel to this movie.... the first one was barely worth watching. "Hot Tub Time Machine" had funny moments and it was entertaining to watch, but it had a ridiculous plot. The sequel just picks up where the first movie ended, and then it has the same weak, time-travel plot too. Except, in the sequel, they get back in the "magic hot tub" and go forward in time instead of going back.

Also, John Cusack isn't in the sequel; it seems he has been replaced by Adam Scott. It makes for a more believable group of friends anyway. I didn't think John Cusack fit into the first movie... (He's not a comedy actor). I love Craig Robinson and Rob Corddry, so I'll probably still watch this as soon as I can. "Hot Tub Time Machine 2" releases Christmas day.

"Workaholics" Season 5 Trailer

This is the first promo I've seen for the new season of "Workaholics". This trailer is awesome and packed with explosive and high adrenaline action. Unfortunately, as it says at the end of this video, NONE of what you see in this promo is actually going to be in this upcoming season of "Workaholics". It's just a spoof trailer that makes it look like an action movie. It's still pretty cool and fun to watch these three characters we have come to know portrayed in this way. Now I'm super excited about Season 5 of "Workaholics" (set to debut Jan. 14, 2015) because Nothing has been revealed yet. #WHX #TightButthole

"Key & Peele" - Al Qaeda vs TSA

In this clip from the sketch comedy series, "Key & Peele", members of 'Al Quaeda ' meet to discuss another terrorist attack when they realize their every move is anticipated and thwarted by T.S.A. SO inappropriate but SO funny ! This video is from the last episode of season 4 - no word on a 5th season yet...

"Freaks & Geeks" Interactive YouTube Game

This is the interactive YouTube game, "Freaks & Geeks". Based on the TV show; this game follows the storyline of the "Freaks & Geeks" series. First, you have to choose if you want to follow the storyline as the "Freaks" OR the "Geeks". Every YouTube Video ends with a decision you must make that will take the storyline in different directions and takes you to the next YouTube video based on your decision. If you watched "Freaks & Geeks", then you will know what answers to choose and you'll beat the game easily, just go along with what happens on the show. This is such a cool idea and I've never seen YouTube video games like this. So, even if you aren't familiar with the television show; this interactive game is awesome and worth trying out!

Rogen & Franco Play the "Freaks & Geeks" YouTube Game

"Freaks & Geeks" is a sitcom from the early 90's and one of my favorite shows ever created. Unfortunately, it was ahead of it's time, so the show was cancelled after it's first season. Rogen and Franco talk about how the show is more popular now than it was back when it originally aired on TV. This show is where Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jason Segel, and Linda Cardellini got their start. They were the "Freaks" (burn-outs) and this show is also where Martin Starr and John Francis Daley got their start too; they were the "Geeks". All of those actors are super famous now and./or currently starring in TV shows and movies.

ALSO - all of these actors still work together and they're are all in movies with each other now. It's a shame the show didn't last longer, but if you've never seen or heard of this show, CHECK IT OUT!

AND...Watch Seth Rogen and James Franco play the game together and watch their reactions in the video above. It's such a cool idea to make a "Freaks & Geeks" interactive YouTube game! (First of it's kind) I will post the link to the game today.

Howard Stern Interviews Obama Supporters.... WOW

Short audio clip of a segment from the Howard Stern radio show, in which he "interviews" registered voters in line at a polling station in Harlem, NY. Its so sad that these stupid, ignorant members of the population are eligible to vote. You should be required by law to take an IQ test to get a voters ID or a test about the voters political knowledge.

Here, listen to Howard Stern mocking these idiots by asking them trick questions just to see if they know anything. He asks them why they are voting for Obama, and they have no idea WHY !

They know nothing about his policies, programs, and accomplishments, they don't even know who the vice president is, or that Bin Laden is supposedly dead. ALL these ignorant "minorities" are voting for Obama PURELY based on skin color....it's pathetic. Congrats Obama, You get the ignorant American vote. (which is unfortunately a large portion of the population). Just listen to this audio clip and I promise it will make you cringe like I did.

"Key & Peele" - Black Republicans

This clip is from the latest season of "Key & Peele", and I can't wait for a 5th season! This show takes the truth in stereotypes of different ethnic races and puts a funny spin on racism. It's like the new version of "The Chappelle Show", but much better.

First of all, I LOVE that Malcolm-Jamal Warner makes an appearance in this clip, and secondly, he basically just plays himself, just like he did on "Community". "Key & Peele" are dressed just like him and attempt to deter black people from voting democratic. Just like they say in the video: black Americans just blindly vote democratic and the ONLY reason Obama was elected for two terms of presidency is because almost ALL "minorities" voted for him purely based on the color of his skin.

"The Boondocks" M.L.K Speech

This is obviously a fictional speech from an episode of "The Boondocks", wherein Martin Luther King comes back to life, only to see what has become of the black population since he was alive. He is quickly fed up with today's ghetto, lazy blacks after he fought so hard for equal civil rights while he was alive. I completely agree with every single word he says up on that podium.

Keep in mind, "The Boondocks" is written, created, and voiced by black men and women. Yet, the show is incredibly racist and pushes the boundaries of all races.

"The Boondocks" - Season 4 Review

Season 4 of "The Boondocks" just ended and it's by far, the most offensive season so far.... With episodes like, "Good Times", "Freedom Riders" and "Freedomland"; which is the most racist / offensive episode in the season. In "Freedomland", the black people are forced to be slaves at "Ed Wuncler II's" old times theme park, "FreedomLand". "Robert" owes so much money to "Ed Wuncler" that he has to do whatever he says....including being his slave.....literally. The authenticity of the theme park goes overboard when they force all the black people to be real slaves. I LOVE how offensive the show has gotten and I think this is the best season so far!

"Key & Peele" - Bone Thugs and Homeless

This video is from "Key & Peele" when they point out that rap groups don't exist anymore; it's only solo artists. There are collaborations but there are no more rap groups like, Wu Tang Clan, Blackstreet, Public Enemy, NWA, etc., So this is a parody of Bone Thugs & Harmony called "Bone Thugs and Homeless" singing about being broke and homeless now. I remember when some of these groups were super popular, they were basically like the black version of boy bands.

"Avengers" team up with the "Guardians of the Galaxy" (Cartoon Clip)

"The Avengers" and the "Guardians of the Galaxy" are both Marvel super hero teams, both have an interesting & diverse group of heroes, both have released VERY successful and lucrative movies recently, but one is clearly the superior team.... "The Avengers" are way better than the stupid "Guardians of the Galaxy" and they could defeat them easily. However, in this one minute video, you see them team up together after meeting for the first time.

Cereal Mascot Group Therapy Session

All of our favorite cereal brand's mascots in therapy / group counseling together. Have you ever watched a commercial for ANY of these cereals? The mascots are hooked on the cereal and will do anything for a fix. They are all addicts, just look at the "CoCo Puffs" bird or the "Trix" rabbit for gods sake! They all have addiction problems and they're all illiterate. That's why all cereal brands are misspelled, like: "Kix", Cap'n Crunch", "CoCo Puffs", "Froot Loops, "Rice Krispies", "Count Chocula" etc., The "Trix" Rabbit steals the kid's cereal, the kids chase the "Lucky Charms" leprechaun and steal his cereal and the "Cookie Krisps" mascot is a straight up burglar.

"Donatello" Gets Screwed

In this awesome & hilarious College Humor video about "The Ninja Turtles"; "Donatello" gets screwed over pretty bad.and no one seems to care. LOL. During the ceremony in which "Splinter" is making the turtles official ninjas with specialties and different color masks. But "Donatello" gets left out, because, let's face it, Donatello is the lame one.

NO ONE says "Donatello" is their favorite "Ninja Turtle"... He's the party-pooper and the nerdy, lame one out of the four. I LOVE this video! ("Splinter" is the best part).

The "Dark Knight" Meets The "Avengers"

Even better than "The Dark Knight Meets The Justice League". In this video, you see how lame "Batman" really is when compared to The "Avengers". He decides to stop being so lame and asks to become a member of "The Avengers", they try to let him down easy......LOL. This video is f*ckin awesome!

The "Dark Knight" Meets The "Justice League"

In this part 2 of "The Dark Knight meets Super-Man", "Super-Man" actually leaves for vacation and introduces "Batman" to the "Justice League" to fill in for him while he's gone. He quickly proves to be useless and nothing but a completely mortal man who dresses up like a bat (This is a billion dollar movie franchise we're talking about here!) Standing next to "Wonder Woman, "Flash" and "Green Latern", (who is equally useless without his ring... and his lantern) "Batman" is the least powerful one. He's just a rich guy that can create all these gadgets and weapons. Yet, he is the most popular one and viewed as one of the more powerful members of the "Justice League".... which, as you can see in this video, he clearly is not.

The "Dark Knight" Meets "Super-Man"

This is a college humor video that puts a funny spin on "The Dark Knight" meeting "Super-Man" for the first time. In the cartoons and comic books, DC always makes it seem like "Batman & Super-Man" are equals somehow....but they're not! "Super-Man" is an alien super hero who can shoot lasers from his eyes, fly faster than a speeding bullet, and he's indestructible. While "Batman" is just "Bruce Wayne" dressed up as a bat with a utility belt. He is strong, but "Super-Man" has super human strength, "Batman" can't catch a falling airplane or fly into space. So, he is totally emasculated by "Super-Man" in this clip. "Gordon" even changes the "Bat-signal" spotlight to a "Super-Man" light in the sky. LOL.

NEW Circa Survive Album "Descensus" - Review

Finally, Circa Survive just released their new album, "Descensus" two days ago! This is Circa Survive's 5th full-length album with another abstract album cover art, but the music is not as good as their earlier stuff and I said the same thing when they released their last record in late 2012, called "Violent Waves".

Earlier albums like "Juturna", "On Letting Go", and "Blue Sky Noise" have most of the band's best work on them. It was that very specific sound that couldn't be compared to any other band. Anthony Green screamed in high pitch singing, which made it sound so powerful and raw, especially when accompanied by those soaring melodies and crazy guitar effects.

However, the past 2 records are missing those signature Anthony Green vocal explosions, and they're filled with a lot more slow songs instead. Just as I said over a year ago in my review of "Violent Waves"; I think Anthony Green has trouble performing their older stuff and hitting those high pitch notes LIVE in concert.

So, now they've made 2 albums that are much easier for Anthony to perform live without straining his vocal cords. Still, I wish they weren't changing their sound at all,  although, this new album is not completely terrible... It features a few classic-Circa songs like "Schema", "Child of the Desert", the self-titled track "Descensus". and the song "Always Begin", which I GUARANTEE will be the single on this record.

Other than those 4 tracks, their new album; "Descensus" is slow and boring. Not at all what I've come to expect from Circa Survive. This is by far their worst album - I give it a  4 /10

"Brickleberry" - Season 3 Review

"Brickleberry" just wrapped up its 3rd season after nearly being cancelled after the second season. The show is created & developed by Daniel Tosh from "Tosh.o" He does both shows and also voices one of the "Brickleberry" main characters; "Malloy". He is the offensive, mean-spirited, witty, talking bear cub that never misses a chance to interject with a  sarcastic, mean, or racist joke.

This third season is just like the first two seasons; it's the same outrageous, tongue-in-cheek, animated, comedy series. The show has progressed a little since season one when there was a bigger focus on the characters being park rangers and the park itself. Season three is more about the individual characters and the escapades they each get into - inside and outside of the Ranger Station. The show is known to push all boundaries and it is gross and offensive to pretty much any group or congregation of people... just for shock value. I love it !

In the first photo above, the cast of "Brickleberry" is dressed as the "Avengers": "Woody" is "THOR", "Steve" is "Captain America" (with a "Brickleberry" logo on the shield), "Denzel" is "Nick Fury" (because he is the only black character), "Connie" is "The Hulk" (of course!), "Ethel" is "Black Widow" which also makes sense. "Bobby Possumcods" is "Hawkeye" (with a plunger instead of an arrow) and "Malloy" is "Iron Man"

I love this show - and that's probably because I fit right into the targeted demographic. I was surprised a third season was even made after watching the season 2 finale, but I hope this show continues for a 4th season.

"Avengers vs Ultron" Original Cartoon

With the release of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" scheduled for 2015, I thought it would be cool to share this clip from a cartoon episode of "The Avengers". This is the episode where the "Avengers" fight "Ultron". However, something tells me it won't be this quick & easy in the upcoming movie version.

It does mention in this 4 min.clip, that "Ultron" is made of "adamantium" (strongest metal on earth) and is therefore, indestructible just like "Wolverine". Yet, "Thor" is still able to decapitate "Ultron" with his hammer in this video because "Vision" (who was created by "Ultron") turns good and detaches "Ultron's" head from his body making it possible for him to be defeated. "Vision" is also confirmed to be in the NEW "Avengers" movie and takes over "Jarvis" (Tony Stark's digital assistant program) just like in the comic books! Although, I don't think he will be helping the "Avengers" in this movie version... (even though he actually becomes a member of the "Avengers" later after turning good)

How "Thor: The Dark World" Should Have Ended

This episode of "How It Should Have Ended" (HISHE) is all about "THOR 2: The Dark World". I could barely sit through the actual movie and I thought it was as transparent as Natalie Portman does in this clip. Instead of meeting at the "Super-Café" after the clip, (like usual) "Loki" sits down at the "Villains Pub" with "Joker" and "General Zod". Instead of "Batman & Super-Man" making fun of the movie and the super hero, we see the exact opposite characters, "Joker & General Zod" poking fun at the villain; "Loki".

Until "Maliketh", the main villain in "Thor: The Dark World" shows up and becomes the focus of ridicule. It's pretty funny and we still see "Thor" at the end of the video. Check it Out!

How "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" Should Have Ended

Another installment of "How It Should Have Ended" (HISHE) about the new "Captain America" movie and how it should have ended. Just like all the other "HISHE" videos; "Captain America" sits down at the "Super-Hero Café" with "Black Widow and "Batman & Super-Man" while they poke fun at him and the movie itself. Just like "Tony Stark" in "Iron Man 3"; "Captain America" didn't enlist the aid of the "Avengers" in this post-Avenger movie for some unknown reason..... "Captain Rogers" has to complete this mission alone? He can't call on his badass team of super heroes to help? The video pokes fun at that too.

In this short clip, "Nick Fury" (who really does sound just like Sam Jackson) insists "Captain America" take on "The Winter Soldier" alone, without the help of 'The Avengers" (even though "Hulk" is down to help). I wondered the exact same thing when I watched this movie...  It's ok though, because "Cap" made a new friend in "Falcon" and he has "Black Widow's" assistance, who somehow has some face-changing technology, but waits until the end to use it.

"Thor", "Captain America", and the "Hulk" should have all had their own individual movie trilogies before any "Avengers" movie was ever released. Releasing the "Captain America" and "Thor" trilogies at the same time as the "Avengers" trilogy just makes everything confusing. Not to mention there was NEVER a "Hulk" movie starring Mark Rufalo. Fans just had to accept that Edward Norton wasn't "Hulk" anymore and accept Mark Rufalo as the new "Incredible Hulk"....  It's a super funny clip and one of my favorite "HISHE" episodes so far.

The Black Keys - "Turn Blue" (Album Review)

The Black Keys released their 7th full-length album, (not including any vinyl or mix tapes) "Turn Blue" earlier this year. It's hard to keep up with these guys - every time I get into one of their records; they release a new one! It doesn't seem like that long ago they released, "El Camino" which was certainly not their best work. The whole album has a slow-tempo and depressing blues sound, no cool melodies or catchy choruses like in their previous albums. "Turn Blue" is a BIG improvement compared to "El Camino", but it's not my favorite piece of their work either. The album features some cool songs like the single, "In Time", the self-titled track, "Turn Blue", "Fever", and "Gotta Get Away".

I enjoy listening to this album, with the exception of one or two tracks. All of Black Keys albums have been produced by Danger Mouse, who is essentially the invisible third member of the band, he adds in all the other instruments and back-up vocals / choir. However, I think Danger Mouse put WAY too much synth on this album. It seems like every song has a strong synth sound in the background and it doesn't mesh with the music. The Black Keys are known for that bluesy-rock sound and with a record title like "Turn Blue"; you would think they would bring out more of that blues sound. Instead, the band decided to try something new and different.

Their sound has changed significantly since their earlier stuff; compare "Attack & Release" to this new album. Their sound isn't scratchy or vintage-sounding anymore like The Strokes earlier work. This record sounds much more polished, but they haven't changed completely, there is still that Black Keys trademark sound. I guess after 12 years, your music style changes and evolves naturally. However, they are definitely not meant to be a synth-pop band!

This is a 2-person band, but listening to this record, you hear several instruments played at once. You would think it's a 7 piece band with a choir. Danger Mouse, the producer and unofficial third member of the band, makes sure they have that same sound when performing LIVE. This 2-man Blues/Rock band from Akron, Ohio have come a long way since touring in a mini van and playing small gigs. Now, they are arguably the BEST 2-man band making rock music (F*CK The White Stripes).

Overall, I give this album a 6 /10, because I prefer their old rough, mid-west rock sound.

First Trailer for "The Interview"

In "The Interview", James Franco and Seth Rogen team up again for what is bound to be another hilarious collaboration! These two are so funny on-screen together and they have brought us some of the most hilarious movies; like "Pineapple Express", "This is the End", and "Neighbors". So, I can't wait to see this new movie set to release on Christmas Day. The movie is about trying to assassinate North Korean Dictator, Kim Jong Un. Which is both, controversial and near impossible. Either way, its going to make for another fantastic movie and an instant comedy classic. I will see any film that these two guys are in, I don't even need to know the plot. Rogen + Franco =  a Guaranteed funny movie. "Freaks for Life" !

"Peter Parker" loses his sh*t !

Another episode of the online series; "How It Should Have Ended" (HISHE) about "The Amazing Spider-Man 2". The video pokes fun at the movie and it's flaws while also showing a funny alternative to the film and the ending specifically. "Peter" introduces "Electro" to the dubstep music scene and "Harry Osborne" isn't evil & angry. Gwen still dies in the end though, and that's what pushes "Spider-Man" over the edge. (Which should've been his breaking point in the movie too)

So, "Peter Parker" goes into the "Super-Hero Cafe" and holds "Batman" at gun point, demanding that "Super-Man" do his trick where he flies around the earth so fast, that he actually reverses time...So he can go back and save "Gwen".  (I would probably do the same thing for Emma Stone) This entire video is ridiculously funny!! It's SO funny to see "Peter" as a bad guy and lose his shit like this! What an awesome video and a MUCH better ending indeed.

NEW "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Trailer

This is the first official (FULL) trailer for "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" set to premiere in May 2015. The trailer doesn't reveal much, but it does show that "Tony Stark" is the main focus of this "Avengers" movie... AGAIN. Also, the beginning of the preview was funny, and I think those are the kind of casual interactions between members of the "Avengers" that fans want to see more of in these films. After that part, the preview looks incredibly bleak and dark. They're up against "Ultron" who looks like a metal skeleton and voiced by James Spader. (awesome!) "Quicksilver", who is now older and played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and appears to be on the villain's side in this movie along with his cousin "Scarlet Witch". Even though he was a good guy in "X-Men: Days of Future Past".... They also fight what appears to be a giant, evil "Iron Man" suit, and it is somehow "Stark's" fault.

It seems like it would be ridiculously easy for the entire "Avengers" team to take out 4 villains, considering in the first "Avengers" movie, they fight an entire alien army....and they win. "Black Widow" will probably end up fighting "Scarlet Witch" because... well, that just makes sense. In the trailer, we see "Hulk" taking on the giant, evil "Iron Man" robot single-handedly.
However, I don't think "Quicksilver" will be defeated as easily. He moves so fast, that time just stands still for everyone else while he casually moves faster than the speed of light. So, he can basically freeze time and take out a room of people in a split second.

The same can be said about "Ultron", he is a robot made up of "adamantium", The same rare, indestructible metal that "Wolverine's" claws and bones are made from. So I don't know how they intend on beating an indestructible robot. I guess we'll have to wait and see, but it's definitely going to take the whole team to defeat this guy.

The movie looks great (of course) and it's directed by the same Director as the first movie (Josh Wedon). "Avengers", released in 2012, was a massive success and shattered box office records, so this sequel is bound to be another box office smash. The original "Avengers" is in my TOP 5 favorite movies; Iv'e watched it 20 times and still enjoy it, so i can't wait to see this ! (and then watch it 20 more times)

"Megatron" Misses Shia LaBeouf...

The second clip in this "Transformers" series is all about "Megatron" showing his sensitive side and opening up to "Optimus Prime" about missing Shia LaBeouf. It's especially funny because no one has ever uttered those words....NO ONE misses Shia LaBeouf Or the old "Transformers" movies.

"Transformers: Age of Extinction" blew the entire first 3 films out of the water! In my Review of this movie on 8/19/14, I spoke specifically about how Mark Wahlberg was a MUCH better leading man than Shia LaBeouf. The movie was more realistic and Mark Wahlberg was a bad ass, which made it more believable he could help the "Autobots". Instead of 125 pound Shia LaBeouf's character being terrified, constantly on the run and screaming through three straight movies with his teenage hormones going crazy.

Of course "Megatron" misses him....he was a scared bitch and easy to find & capture.... But he still somehow, always saved the day and gets the girl out of his league.........? Mark Wahlberg was obviously a better casting choice and "Age of Extinction" was the best "Transformers" movie as of yet and MUCH more believable.  F*CK SHIA !

"Transformers" Play "Battleship" Together

"Optimus Prime & Megatron" from the "Transformers" series play the board game "Battleship", while also making fun of the movie (which was total garbage). I can't believe they actually turned this beloved board game into a movie and thought people would want to see it. The "Transformers" in this video can't believe it either. They poke fun at the very idea of turning this game into a movie It is cool to see "Megatron" sit down with "Optimus Prime" and play a game together instead if fighting. They're actually in agreeability over how shitty that movie is...... as am I.

Great game. Terrible movie. Funny video.

"Villain Pub" - Discussion about a Villain's "look"

This is the second "Villain Pub" cartoon sketch, and just as I hoped, this one features even more villains than the first one. Including, "Magneto" & "Mystique" from "X-Men", "Dr. Doom" from "Fantastic Four", and "Two Face", "Bane" and "Joker" all "Batman" villains. Also, the strange appearance of  "Smaug", the cartoon dragon from "The Desolation of Smaug" as well as the evil, cartoon dog with a voice box on his collar and robot voice from the kid's movie, "UP". Those last 2 cartoon villains shouldn't be a part of this web series; they don't fit in like the rest of the villains. Which also includes "Dr. Octavius", "The Winter Soldier", and "Cobra Commander"

In this video; "Loki" from "Avengers" sits down with "Voldemort" from "Harry Potter" and the "Joker" to discuss villain fashion and pick on "Voldemort's" 'look'. It also features "Cobra Commander" from "G.I. Joe" and "Bowser" returns as the bouncer and kicks "The Mandarin" out because... well, as we saw in "Iron Man 3"; he is not a real villain / terrorist. I don't know who the guy with the mustache is.... but this video is hilarious and WAY better than the first one.

"Villain Pub" - Across From "The Super-cafe"

"Villains Pub" is a great idea brought to us by the creators of all the "How It Should Have Ended" clips. The good guys have a place to hang out and chat with each other, so the villains should have a place of their own too. Although, this clip doesn't feature any 'DC or Marvel Comic" villains besides the "Joker". Other than that, We see "Kahn" from "Star Trek" and "Voldemort" from the "Harry Potter" Series and the bartender is "Emperor Palpatine" from "Star Wars"..... None of which are comic book villains. It also shows "Alien" fighting "Predator" in the beginning and it shows "Bowser"wearing a Security shirt that says "Bowncer" - I thought that was pretty funny, but I would still like to see more comic book villains (and there are plenty to choose from) in future episodes of this NEW series that is meant to go along with the "Super Cafe" clips.

It;s such a cool idea! Now, we get to see all of our favorite heroes AND all the villains we love to hate. Can't wait for more clips from "HISHE"!

"Zordon" is Prejudice

Anyone who grew up in the 90's watched "Power Rangers", and the people in my generation that deny watching this every day after school are lying. Well, at least ALL white kids did.... and looking back on this show, it was kind of racist. "Yellow Ranger" was an Asian girl, "Green/ White Ranger" was the leader white guy and "Pink Ranger" was the leading white girl who was the love interest of "White Ranger" (of course). The "Blue Ranger" was just a super nerdy white guy and the "Black Ranger" was the only black guy on the team.

So maybe "Zordon" was a little racist.... and maybe He used stereotypes about each race to determine which color to assign to each "Power Ranger"... but that's just how things were in the 90's - that was the basic format for any team. Handsome white guy leads the team and has a romantic relationship with the cute white girl and the Asian girl and black guy were just there for diversity. I don't remember "Blue Ranger" being jewish.... but I think he was gay.

This video is funny because of how true it is. Also, can a giant glowing face be racist?? LOL

How "X-Men: First Class" Should Have Ended

This is one of the videos from the animated web series "How It Should Have Ended" (HISHE). Which, comedically shows alternate, and sometimes better endings to popular movies. This specific one is my favorite though, because it points out all the stupid dialogue and choices during that particular scene at the end of  "X-Men: First Class". I especially love the way "Magneto" sounds in this clip when he's giving his speech. Watch the video and if you like it - check out more of the "HISHE"videos on YouTube.

"Batman & Superman" at the "Super Cafe" (Feat. Marvel Super Heroes)

Above is a series of clips showing "Batman & Superman" sitting down at a the "Super Café" together and having discussions as well as meeting and having coffee with  members of the "Marvel Universe". (and "Super Mario" tries to force his way in). The video is a lil long because it's a collection of  all the short "Super Cafe" clips back-to-back, featuring all the famous "Marvel" heroes. Including, the entire "Avengers" team sitting down together with "Batman & Superman", eating shwarma and talking about how successful their movie was. This is a MUST WATCH for ALL fans of "DC" and "Marvel" comic books / movies. Just watch the first couple clips and you'll be hooked - it's hilarious !

"The Ninja Turtles" Actually Use Their Weapons

I was just talking about this in my Review of the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie (posted 10/30) . In the original cartoon, the turtles NEVER actually harmed or killed anyone. They always threw their weapons at like chains causing a chandelier to crash down on the enemies or they would break a pipe or fire hydrant, spraying the enemies away with water and a cheesy pun....It's SO frustrating - They're supposed to be ninjas! Plus, two of them have bladed weapons..... there is no excuse. If you kill "Shredder", he won't come back in the next episode and try to kill you again....problem solved. This video shows how much better it would be if they actually used their weapons. It's awesome!

Metric - "Black Sheep" LIVE

This is Metric performing what is probably their only good track - "Black Sheep". If this song sounds familiar, that's because it was remastered and performed by a fake band called "The Clash at Demon Head" on the movie "Scott Pilgrim vs The World". The beautiful Brie Larson actually sings this song in the movie. She has a beautiful voice and now I'm even more in love with her! Above is a video of the REAL band performing the song, although I like the version in the movie more.

"Workaholics" Wizard song music video

This is the actual YouTube music video seen briefly and performed live on the TV show, "Workaholics". We never get to hear the whole song or see the entire performance in the episode. In a later episode, the guys are huddled around a computer at work watching this actual music video they made. They're actually pretty good rappers and even better Wizards.

3 minutes with this Swedish pop sensation is all you need ! She talks about her EP "Truth Serum" and  about her song-writing process. I LOVE Tove Lo and I don't understand why she's not already some super famous mainstream artist. This is a short glimpse of what emotions and experiences she draws from to create her amazing music.

"Key & Peele" - My Best Friend

This is one of my favorite sketches from "Key & Peele" (which is now in it's 4th season) I LOVE this show. Check them out if you haven't already. its Keegan Key and Jordan Peele putting a totally different spin on "black comedy" It's hilarious and most of what they talk & joke about is actually true. This show is for Everyone, that's why it's not on BET. You can watch them on Comedy Central or YouTube..

"Horrible Bosses 2" - Trailer

The preview for the sequel to "Horrible Bosses" looks hilarious. The first movie was funny and an instant classic, but this movie looks even better! Charlie Day, Jason Sudekis, and Jason Bateman return in "Horrible Bosses 2" along with the addition of Christopher Waltz, Chris Pine, Jonathan Banks, Keegan-Michael Key and the return of Jennifer Anniston, Kevin Spacey, and Jamie Foxx.

It looks like this time they plot a kidnapping instead of a murder and Jamie Foxx reprises his hilarious role of "gangster crime-advisor". With this many talented and famous people, it is bound to be a good movie. Releases Thanksgiving Day.

Flight of the Conchords - "Bret, You've Got it Going On"

Above is an excerpt from the popular show, "Flight of the Conchords". It's also one of the songs they play during their live stand-up routine. Putting this song in the show like this was brilliant. It is so awkward and hilarious. It's also one of my favorite songs by them for sure. It's a short & funny video so check it out if you haven't already heard this.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" - Movie Review

"Cowabunga!!" indeed. This is an Excellent movie ! I was nervous about being let down by this new, updated version of  the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", but i was not disappointed! This is the first time we have actually seen a live action "Ninja Turtles" movie since the 90's trilogy. The characters were updated slightly, but their attitudes and personalities we all know, are still the same. All of the turtles play their own voice except "Leonardo", who is voiced over by Johnny Knoxville for some reason.... that is not at all what "Leo" sounds like. That was a terrible casting choice, but the graphics in this film are phenomenal !! It reminds me a lot of the CGI graphics in the new "Transformers" movie. I also like the fact that these updated "Ninja Turtles" actually use their weapons to hurt & kill villains, unlike the classic "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".

It is so visually stimulating - especially the part where they are racing down the mountain during an avalanche.I also REALLY liked the part where "Raphael" used himself as a canon ball to take out a truck and I LOVED the elevator scene where they just break into a freestyle beat. This is a great movie, and not too long either - just about an hour & half.

"Shredder" is decked out with awesome armor and weapons - he looks like "Super Shredder". He kicks the "Ninja Turtles" asses individually, but with a  move they call "buck-buck", together they all attack him at once and defeat "Shredder". Although, we see him finally die after "April O'Neil", played by Megan Fox, simply kicks him down over 100 stories,. She actually does a great job playing this role, (plus she is still the hottest woman on the planet). Will Arnett also does a good job in this movie as "April's" news team partner and he is  hilarious!

I've always been a "Ninja Turtles" fan and even as an adult, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie - I give it a  8 /10.

This show has gotten so much crazier and offensive as the seasons have gone by. New episodes not airing until January - I can't wait!!!!@#$%-!!

What You Wish Would Happen on "The Walking Dead"

This cartoon puts a funny spin on "The Walking Dead". It pokes fun at the show and what fans would like to see happen, but it does show what we see during season 4. Plus, in the comic books, "Carl" does grow up to be a badass

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 Preview

Extended trailer for the new season of "The Walking Dead". This is definitely one of my all-time favorite shows and Season 5 just premiered and it looks AWESOME!

"Let's Be Cops" - Movie Review

This was a good movie, but not quite what I expected. The previews for the film made it seem like a silly, easy-going, care-free comedy, but the whole "Cop" thing is taken very seriously in this movie. Especially by Jake Johnson's character; once he gets a taste of that power, he goes full steam ahead and buys a complete squad car as well as promoting himself to 'Sargent'. He pulls Damon Wayans Jr.'s character into being his "partner" and soon enough, they are in real danger and real shoot outs without any police training.

The two of them actually solve the case which includes corruption within the L.A.P.D.  but they have no way of doing anything with the evidence, I love Rob Riggle and he is the one that ends up saving their asses in the end. I thought this movie was going to be much funnier, especially considering it stars Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. They do make a great on-screen duo, I just expected more police pranks and I also expected them both to end up as REAL cops by the end of the movie. Instead, only Jake Johnson's character becomes a legitimate police officer. Meanwhile, Damon Wayans Jr.'s character releases a video game called "Patrol Man", based on their intense adventure as cops.

All in all, it was a good movie - just not what I expected. I give it a 7 /10.

Smallpools - "Mason Jar" (Music Video)

"Getting Doug with High"

Cast members from my favorite show, "Workaholics" get high with Doug while being interviewed. They smoke from different pipes, bongs, and gadgets. Doug teaches these famous pot heads some new stuff and different methods of consuming THC. I love these three guys - Anders, Adam, and Blake and I LOVE their show "Workaholics". This is the coolest way to conduct an interview!

Marijuana TODAY

Oddly enough, this is a quote from Joe Rogan - but it rings true for  many people. You can get dangerously intoxicated from drinking alcohol LEGALLY...... but smoking a plant is illegal??

tobacco comes from a plant and cigarettes kill hundreds of thousands of people a year, but that's legal.....

Marijuana has not been proven to cause lung cancer, or any other diseases or ailments It is literally impossible to over-dose on AND it doesn't have any addictive properties. Nobody has ever caused an accident or killed anyone "driving while stoned". Yet again, alcohol is responsible for 88,000 deaths per year and it's legal.... Does this make sense to you?

The only reason it was ever declared illegal is because the small-minded, ignorant minds of the government in the 40's declared it illegal and scared the public with movies like "Reefer Madness" in which, marijuana is made out to be a hard drug if you smoke - you will lose your mind,

Well, it;s 2014, and just like we came to our senses and repealed prohibition, Marijuana will become legal country wide. It's no longer the "devil's lettuce".... times have changed and marijuana is not even considered a "drug" by today's youth. In fact, it's already legal in 23 states because people are figuring out that cannabis has many uses, both medicinal and spiritual. Its not just for recreational use by 'burnouts' anymore. Those days are over and now its is estimated that 24.5 million people smoke weed now and celebrities are now being outspoken about smoking herb

"The Expendables 3" - Movie Review

The eagerly awaited 3rd and final edition of "The Expendables" franchise was released this year. It all started in 2010, when Sylvester Stallone wanted to make the ultimate action movie starring many of our all-time favorite action stars. He even directed the movie itself, which in my opinion, is the best film out of the three. There has been so many famous action stars featured over the course of three movies, but not all of them are in ALL 3 movies.

For instance, Steve Austin and Mickey Rourke are only in the first movie (besides, Mickey Rourke doesn't actually fight anyone ..... what a waste). Also, Chuck Norrris, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Liam Hemsworth are only in the second movie. Lastly, "The Expendables 3" features some new faces we all know from action movies; like Wesley Snipes, Antonio Banderas, Kelsey Grammer, Harrison Ford and Mel Gibson. Bruce Willis is in the first two films but he doesn't make an appearance in this movie. Jet Li is only in the beginning of "The Expendables 2" and he pops up at the very end of "The Expendables 3". Once again, We barely get to see Jet Li in action and Terry Crews is injured in this movie, so we don't see much action from him either.

SO, Sylvester Stallone's character, "Barny Ross" made a stupid choice in having a younger, new class of "The Expendables" recruited that haven't been in ANY other action films...this ruins the movie for me. Eventually the younger class of "The Expendables" work alongside with the original crew making a huge ten-man team to take down the villain, Mel Gibson. I will say, the scene with the new cast members are all pretty badass, especially the motorcycle jump scene. But, I still think they should have kept the same crew throughout the whole trilogy. The fighting sequences' are choreographed so well and the special effects are realistic. I give this movie a 6 /10. The first two were much better in my opinion.

"Sex Tape" - Movie Review

There was so much media hype and buzz around this movie when it hit theaters. The commercials looked funny, but the movie is horrible. It may feature some very well known actors like, Cameron Diaz, Jason Segel, Rob Coddry, and Rob Lowe; but the movie is poorly put together and it's not even entertaining to watch. There is no back story or plot other than what you see in the previews - Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz make a sex tape and spend the rest of the film scrambling to retrieve all the copies that were accidentally sent to people. The sex scenes between those two seem so forced and unnatural, which again, makes it hard to watch.

In fact, the ONLY part of the movie I liked was Rob Lowes character's house, filled with Disney movie paintings with Rob Lowes' face drawn in over the character's faces. Also, the fact that he was randomly doing blow after coming across as a straight arrow guy all about business. It came out of nowhere! Even though it was funny, (Rob Lowe is ALWAYS funny) this also made the movie seem weird and poorly pieced together. The movie is awkward and makes the viewer uncomfortable watching it.

Bringing your small children with you to break into a building and retrieve your sex tape is inappropriate and weird. Once again, WTF ? why is this in the movie?? Jake Kasdan is the director of this movie, he also directed another Cameron Diaz movie in 2011 called, "Bad Teacher". Kasdan is also the one we have to thank for the TV series "New Girl" which is just as terrible as this movie. With that being said, I give this film a 3 /10

"RoboCop" - Movie Review

I had low expectations for this movie because I always thought the original "RooboCop" movies in the early 90's were lame and cheesy. I mean, after all, he is the lamest "super hero" ever created... right up there next to "Captain Planet". So, I was in no rush to see this movie, but it was  actually a pretty god & watchable movie. Graphics were great and cast was great, but the very few action sequences shown are dull and "RoboCop" gets his ass kicked WAY too easily. (He sort of looks like "Snake Eyes" from "G.I. Joe" in this movie... but not as cool)

I will say, this is a big improvement from the old "RoboCop" trilogy in the 90's. But then again, that's not saying much. I give this movie a 4 /10. Unfortunately, this seems to be the first in a new, revitalized "RoboCop" movie trilogy.

Childish Gambino - "Kids" (Music Video)

The latest music video from Childish Gambino, "Kids" is a great song but it is not included in his first full-length album, "Because the Internet". Plus I can't find this song on any of his old mix tapes. Perhaps it's a taste of some of his new stuff.

Grouplove- "Spreading Rumours" Album Review

Grouplove is an awesome, fast-rising indie/ pop band from Los Angeles, CA. that has caught the attention of critics and fans alike with their debut singles, "Tongue Tied" and "Colours". Both are fun, up-tempo songs and just as good as the other tracks on their 2011 debut album, "Never Trust a Happy Song". It's an ironic album title, because the vast majority of the songs on the album are fun and happy. I would compare their sound to Foster the People, The Kooks, and Modest Mouse. This first album is fantastic and full of great songs, I love this record - I give it a 8 /10.

The 2nd album, "Spreading Rumours" is not nearly as good, but it's not necessarily bad either - they changed their musical style on the new record and it actually came out pretty good. We have seen so many indie bands release terrible sophomore albums after the debut record was a huge success. It's usually because the band goes in a different direction musically instead of sticking to the format that worked in the first place.

Grouplove did the same thing with their second album; "Spreading Rumors", released in 2013. There is a couple good songs / singles on this record, like; "Ways To Go", "Shark Attack", and "Didn't have to go",. I would compare the musical style on this record to Fleet Foxes and/or The Go Find. It's a much darker and slower album but not bad... I give it a 5 /10.

And I HIGHLY recommend checking out Grouplove if you're an indie-pop fan! (Interesting fact: they do the ending credits music for the show "BoJack Horseman")

"BoJack Horseman" NEW Netflix Original Series

I just finished watching the premiere season of "BoJack Horseman", a Netflix original series that doesn't air on TV at all - it's exclusively through Netflix (or you can simply download it...). It's a satirical comedy about a washed up actor named "BoJack Horseman" living in Hollywood, California and doing what most 'has-been' actors do.... writes an autobiography before he is completely forgotten by everyone. It's an animated series with humans and animals together featuring the voices of some very famous and funny actors like; Will Arnett, who is the voice of "BoJack", Aaron Paul (from "Breaking Bad") voices the character of co-star "Todd", Alison Brie (from "Community") is the voice of "Diane Nguyen", Kristen Schaal (from "Flight of the  Conchords") does the voice of "Sarah Lynn", Patton Oswalt is super funny as the voice of "BoJack's" publisher; "Pinky Penguin".

Not to mention other great actors like: J.K. Simmons, Stanley Tucci, Ken Jeong, John Krasinski, and Stephen Colbert, who all guest-star vocally in one or two episodes.

With a star-studded cast like this, I'm willing to bet Netflix will churn out more episodes of "BoJack Horseman" and I think this is just the beginning of Netflix creating original TV shows. There has been a BIG response to this show and lots of promotion behind it, I recommend checking it out - it's hilarious and only twelve episodes long.

Newest video of "Quest Crew" performing LIVE

This is the most recent video of "Quest Crew" performing Live with D-Trix back in the crew. It makes such a huge difference! After almost 2 years, I'm super excited that Dominic is back and they perform perfectly, even though they're missing one of their members (Aichi -  the head spinner). This is the Ken-Ya Dance SoCal Festival in Los Angeles that features some of the best dance crews. I'm always on the lookout for new "Quest Crew" videos.

"Wilfred" SERIES Finale

I love this show, but I absolutely hate how it ended... It was confusing, depressing and it doesn't definitively confirm who or what "Wilfred" is and why "Ryan" is the only one who can see him. It's like I said in my original post about this new season of "Wilfred" - The writers for the show wrote themselves into a corner. It's like the series was never supposed to go on this long so the writers / producers end the show the only way possible - they kill off "Wilfred". First, he loses one of his legs and then the x-rays showed a mass in his lungs that turns out to be stage four lung cancer.

So, "Wilfred"only has a matter of days left to live which leaves "Jenna" hysterical and even more upset than "Ryan". After four seasons, "Ryan" FINALLY hooks up with "Jenna" after obsessing over her from the very beginning. "Wilfred" reveals that his purpose has been to bring them together all along and help "Ryan" find happiness. But then, "Drew"suddenly comes back into the story to see "Wilfred" one last time. So of course, "Jenna" being the manipulative and selfish vixen she is; suddenly dumps "Ryan" and goes right back to dating "Drew" the tool. "Wilfred" dies in a gut-wrenching scene that shows "Ryan" crying over his body, only it actually shows him as a REAL dog for the first time ever. The show could end there just fine and it would make sense, even though "Wilfred" failed in bringing "Ryan & "Jenna" together after all.

Instead, the finale just ruins the entire series by "Wilfred" coming back to life...It might just be in "Ryan's head", but it's never determined. First, it's explained that "Wilfred" is a "god" and "Ryan" is the "chosen one"..... Then it shows it's all in "Ryan's" head and he really was hallucinating "Wilfred" the whole time. So, "Ryan" really is crazy and has been talking to a normal dog all along...? The finale did NOT wrap up the series - In fact, it poses even more questions with no more episodes and no answers. This two-part Finale was TERRIBLE !!!

Why I'm Single

Sounds about right.....  it gets harder in your late 20's to meet girls - Plus, all the really good ones are taken.

Profiling is NOT Prejudice - Its FACTS

Well how about that..... It's a sad fact that one out of three black males are in some phase of the criminal justice system. It's time we start paying attention to the crime - race ratio in this country instead of being accused of "racial profiling". It's not racism, its basic statistics.

"Community" Season 5

O

I thought season 5 of "Community" was going to be the series finale. However, the series doesn't  come to a conclusive end in the finale. In fact, there is slight foreshadowing of a romantic connection between "Jeff" and "Annie", but nothing comes of it. I just figured losing 2 cast members in one season would kill the show off. Not to mention, there has been near cancellations in the past and at one point; we were all unsure if "Community" would even come back for a 4th season. The goal is "six seasons and a movie", so there are rumors that the remaining cast members will return for a final season and maybe "Annie" and "Jeff" will finally get together.

This season was pretty cool, it had a lot of themed parody episodes that "Community" is known for doing. That's actually my favorite aspect of this series. Season Five includes another "Dungeons and Dragons" episode, a campus-based social media craze episode, a Nicholas Cage episode where "Abed" loses his mind (again), a "Zodiac"-themed episode about the "Ass Crack Bandit", an episode where the whole school plays a game of 'the ground is hot lava' in a parody of "Mad Max", and a completely animated "GI Joe" episode. Unfortunately, my favorite character, "Troy" leaves the show and he's only in 4 episodes this season. The actor, Donald Glover, left to pursue his rap career full time. Chevy Chase also left the show and was very vocal about how unhappy he was playing the role of "Pierce". So they added a new character -"Professor Hickey", played by Jonathan Banks (from "Breaking Bad"). Also, "Chang" and "The Dean" both have a much more involved role with the "study group" to compensate for the loss of two characters.

This season was all about "Saving Greendale" and it ends with a two-part finale about saving the school from being sold and closed. I wouldn't mind a sixth season, but for the most-part, I am done with this show. It's lost most of it's momentum and unique charm, it's not as funny anymore.

"TrueBlood" Series Finale!

\

This is the Final, and by far the craziest season of "TrueBlood". So many surprises and twists plus this season is more action than drama. This season is all about a disease that's killing vampires called "Hepatitis-V". Symptoms are black veins appearing and spreading all over the body until the infected vampire dies a terrible death. It also makes them aggressive and desperate for clean blood.

Season seven starts with a  vampire attack in which the "hep-v positive" vampires attacked "Bon Temp", unaware there were good vampires there to protect them. It turns into an all out brawl between the good vampires & werewolves VS the infected vampires Who they easily kill mid-season in an epic scene. There were so many deaths and loss of characters during this final season - "Tara" meets the "truth death" in the first episode and it doesn't even show it happen.... "Lafayette" steals "Jessica's" vampire boyfriend and turns him gay. "Jessica" kills 3 out of 4 of "Andy Belflour's fairy daughters" and it just sort of blows over, like it's not a big deal. "Sam Merlotte" finds a new girlfriend after his last one just died and skips town with her, leaving "Merlottes Diner" to "Arlene". "Jason" is in another complicated relationship... This time, with a strong and possessive vampire who turns evil and meets the "true death" also. "Alcide" and "Sookie" are in a serious relationship, but he is shot and killed by mid-season. "Sookie" doesn't even grieve long - she goes right back to loving "Bill" almost immediately.

"Bill" is back to his normal self when he discovers he is "Hep-V positive" and dying. "Jessica" is kind of a slut this season - She has sex with her gay vampire boyfriend, and when they break up she goes running back to "Jason" and sleeps with him immediately. Then "Hoyt" returns from Alaska, and he and "Jessica" start their relationship all over again. In fact, "Jessica" and "Hoyt"get married right away so "Bill" could walk her down the aisle before dying.

There is a cure for "Hepatitis-V" that "Sara Newland" drank, (I can't believe she is still on this show) Thus, making herself the cure - her blood can cure all the sick vampires and restore order. "Eric' captures her and synthesizes her blood into a cure and a new alternative to drinking human blood, called "Newblood" However, "Bill" won't drink the cure, he has made peace with his death and plagued with flashbacks to his human life, and the realization that "Sookie" will never have a normal life with him. So in the Finale, by request; "Sookie"is the one that kills "Bill" and buries his remains, It's a super emotional scene - This whole series has been about those two and the ups and downs they experienced together and the show appropriately ends with the two of them (just not as I expected). At the end of the series finale, it shows years down the road that "Eric" and "Pam" are back in business and making a fortune with "NewBlood".

The last scene shows a peaceful "Bon Temp", and everyone is together for a picnic. It also shows a happy & pregnant "Sookie Stackhouse", but never reveals the father.
It sucks this show is ending after seven AMAZING seasons, but it's ending in such a cohesive way that ends everything sensibly and ties the series up.so the show can't continue any longer. It was a GREAT series finale!
